The Sentinel is the quarterly newsletter of the Nevada Civil War Volunteers. It contains articles about the goings on in the organization, as well as historical pieces about the Civil War and the State of Nevada. The Sentinel takes its name from the statue pictured below. It was dedicated to the Grand Army of the Republic, and guards the graves of Civil War Veterans at Lone Mountain Cemetery in Carson City, NV.
